From Kogen Station, at an altitude of 503m above sea level, to Tsurumi Sanjo Station, at an elevation of 1,300m takes approximately 10 minutes in the large gondola. This large gondola is one of the largest in western Japan, with a capacity of 101 passengers. On your way up, you can enjoy a panorama view of the Gulf of Beppu, and even see as far as Shikoku. From the western side of Tsurumidake, you can take in views of the Kyushu Alps and the Kuju Mountain Range.
